Our Respiratory Services
Pulmonary Function Test
A non-invasive breathing test that evaluates lung capacity, lung volumes, and diffusion capacity. These insights help healthcare providers diagnose and create effective treatment plans for respiratory conditions.
Spirometry
A quick and essential test to assess how well a patient can inhale and exhale air, commonly used for diagnosing asthma, COPD, and other lung conditions.
Spirometry/DLCO
This test combines spirometry with diffusion capacity measurement, assessing how effectively oxygen is transferred from the lungs into the bloodstream.
MIPS & MEPS (Respiratory Muscle Strength Testing)
An additional test sometimes requested by specialists to measure the strength of respiratory muscles, often used in conjunction with other lung function tests.
Asthma & COPD Education
Certified Respiratory Educators provide guidance on self-management strategies, including proper inhaler techniques and lifestyle adjustments for better symptom control.
Methacholine Challenge Testing (Ages 6 & Up)
A diagnostic test for patients with suspected asthma but no clear diagnosis. This highly sensitive test measures airway hyperreactivity to confirm or rule out asthma.
Mannitol Challenge Testing (Ages 12 & Up)
An alternative to the Methacholine Challenge, this test is a quick and safe method to assess bronchial hyperresponsiveness, particularly useful for exercise-induced asthma diagnosis.
Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) Analysis
This test evaluates oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the blood, essential for diagnosing respiratory failure and oxygen therapy needs.
