Heart Tests in NW Calgary — ECG and Holter Monitoring

Grace Medical Clinic is a family medicine clinic in Sage Hill, northwest Calgary, offering cardiac diagnostic services in partnership with Oasis Cardiac Centre. If your physician wants a closer look at your heart, the testing is arranged right here.

If you have chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, or think you may be having a heart emergency right now, call 911. The tests on this page are for planned, non-urgent checks.

Heart tests available here

  • ECG (electrocardiogram). A quick, non-invasive recording of your heart’s electrical activity, used to check heart rhythm and function. Curious what it involves? Read our guide: What is an ECG test and when might your doctor recommend one?
  • Holter monitoring. A small wearable recorder, typically worn for 3 to 7 days, that tracks abnormal heart rhythms and electrical activity to help diagnose arrhythmias.
  • 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. A cuff you wear through a full day of normal activities, giving your physician a much truer picture than a single in-office reading.
  • Cardiac screening for patients with diabetes. A targeted assessment of heart and blood vessel health, helping catch risks early.

How it works

These tests are done on a physician’s referral. Your physician decides which test fits your situation, and the results go back to them — they review everything and follow up with you about what comes next. Through the Oasis Cardiac Centre partnership, more advanced cardiac evaluation is coordinated for you when it is needed.

  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Sunday and statutory holidays: closed
